书信类作文一般由六部分组成：称呼，问候，正文，祝福语，署名，日期。下面分别介绍一下它们在格式上的要求：
1.称呼：写一封信，先要把收信人的称呼顶格写在第一行，然后，再在后面加上逗号，表示下面有话要说。
例如：
Dear Tom，
2.问候语：问候语要写在称呼的下一行，顶格写就可以，它可以独立成为一段。
例如：
I'm glad to receive your letter.
How's everything with you ?
3.正文：正文一般分为连接语，主体文，总括语三部分，需要顶格写。
例如：
I'm writing to you ……

4.祝福语：祝福语是表示致敬或是祝贺一类的话，一般要另起一行顶格写。

3、英语道歉信格式？
英文的道歉信跟信的格式差不多，基本上就是：
Mr. /Mrs./Ms. XXX(如果是跟你有比较亲近的关系可以用Dear，不过那么亲近的人也不用写道歉信了吧= =)
I am sorry for.......because ..... (说上2、3句就行，然后可以扯上相关的其它内容)
XXX（最后签上自己的名字）
反正重要的就是，老外重视的是结果，所以不要写的中国式委婉，一定要把道歉写在开头，为了什么道歉，给谁道歉，然后再找借口。
